Summary

I was tasked with creating a logo for a crochet client. Her only requirement was to include her products in the design, and she gave me broad creative freedom.

During our initial meeting, I asked targeted questions to understand her brand vision. After conducting market research, I noticed many “cute” companies used animal motifs. I wanted to go beyond the trend and incorporate her products in a distinctive way.

With that in mind, I designed a self-representation logo featuring her signature cat-ear knitted hats and winterwear. The result was very well received. She attracted sizable crowds at events like Anime North and beyond.

More than just a fun visual, the professional logo helped her brand gain credibility. It secured more convention spots and boosted her product sales.
